“After seeing my doctor and getting his approval, I monitor myself every day to make sure my blood sugars and blood pressure are in the safe levels. I am walking and jogging 3 - 7 miles per day. Never in my life have I been able to do that. After 30 days I had met my goal and lost 30 pounds.”

The Wellness Tribune, Putnam CAP and Kobacker's Market join forces to feed the hungry

The Wellness Tribune, an on-line information source for health, wellness and cleansing, has teamed with the Putnam Community Action Program (Putnam CAP), the host of the Brewster Food Pantry, and Kobacker's Market, a popular independent grocery store, (all based in Brewster, NY) to help feed the hungry.

All 3 parties involved have a keen interest in helping the community. Putnam CAP has an interest in feeding the hungry; after all, that's their mandate as an official charitable organization. Kobacker's Market is interested in helping the community, and has graciously taken on being the pilot grocery store for the program. They enthusiastically contributed time and ideas toward getting the program up and running by Christmas. The Wellness Tribune is interested in educating the general public regarding the immense benefits of proper nutrition as well as being community minded.  The Wellness Tribune also has an e-mail based Newsletter.  To sign up for the Wellness Tribune newsletter go to Wellness-Tribune.com and click on
